The InnovFest Chongqing 2023 was held by NUS (Chongqing) Research Institute from 12th – 13th of October 2023, which jointly supported by NUS Enterprise, Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau, China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity Administrative Bureau, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, Enterprise Singapore, Infcomm Media Development Authority.

The event is positioned as an international and diversified platform for innovative technology and traditional industries to interact. Themed “China-Singapore Cooperation - Industrial Upgrading and Innovation”, it spotlighted key sectors such as automobile manufacturing, advanced materials, and information technology. Two core subjects were set: smart mobility and innovative technology application, and advanced materials and new energy industry innovation cooperation. Representatives from high-tech enterprises, university experts, professors, and innovative talents from China and Singapore engaged in deep discussions that fostered bilateral cooperation in science and technology enterprises and scientific research.

Approximately 450 individuals attended the event. This included around 80 representatives from enterprises such as National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation, Open Security Research Company, Black Sesame Intelligent Technology, Kernelsoft, Open-SDV Centre among 50 other companies. Several universities like Chongqing University, Ningxia University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Southwest University, National University of Singapore were represented. Additionally, 10 Singapore projects such as IP8Value and Lalia participated.

The event covered a wide range of fields including automobile manufacturing, advanced materials, education, intellectual property rights, food technology, medical health, intelligent robots, and environmental protection.
